Als werkgever dien je ervoor te zorgen dat het personeel zich op haar gemak voelt tijdens het werk. Iets wat hier zeker invloed op kan hebben, is het kantoor. Bij een snelle groei van een bedrijf kan het zijn dat er na verloop van tijd te weinig ruimte is voor de hoeveelheid werknemers. In dat geval wordt er vaak voor (slechts) tijdelijke oplossingen gekozen. Hierdoor voelt het personeel zich minder prettig en dat moet verholpen worden. Er zit op dat moment niks anders op dan het kopen of huren van een nieuw kantoor.

Betrek je personeel bij de beslissing

Het is zeer aan te raden om ruim van te voren aan het team te laten weten dat je naar een nieuw pand wilt verhuizen. Je geeft hen in dat geval de mogelijkheid om mee te denken en naast dat dit prettig is, kan dit er ook voor zorgen dat je sneller een gepaste kantoorruimte vindt. Laat de mening van anderen overigens niet te veel de beslissing beïnvloeden. Er is namelijk altijd een gedeelte van de groep die het hier niet mee eens is en het graag laat blijken. 

Zorg ervoor dat je het huidige kantoor netjes oplevert

Om boetes te voorkomen is het noodzakelijk dat je het kantoor in een zo net mogelijke staat achterlaat. In het contract staat hoogstwaarschijnlijk dat het in de oorspronkelijke staat moet worden teruggebracht. Daarom kun je kijken voor een actie schoonmaken bij een externe partij. Een kantoor ontruimen en opknappen is geen leuke klus. Gelukkig kun je er, indien gewenst, voor kiezen om hier een externe partij voor in te schakelen. Denk goed na over wat je mee wilt nemen naar het nieuwe kantoor en laat alle rommel ophalen door een ontruimingsbedrijf. 

Geef een verhuizing op tijd door aan belanghebbenden

Als het zeker is dat je binnenkort verhuist naar een nieuw pand dan is het belangrijk dat je belanghebbenden op tijd op de hoogte brengt. Geef aan waar je naartoe gaat verhuizen en zorg dat abonnementen op tijd worden overgezet. Daarnaast is het ook voor klanten en partners prettig om te weten als je van locatie verandert. Dit zodat ze weten waar ze naartoe moeten gaan voor een afspraak en eventueel post naar je kunnen sturen.
