Gezien deze voordelen door het jaar heen, is het begrijpelijk dat vogels de ruimte onder de panelen als ideale plaats beschouwt om zich te nestelen. Dit houdt in dat de vogels zich hier ‘officieel’ vestigen door een nestje te bouwen. 

Nadelig voor bewoners

Het hele jaar vogels rond jouw woning klinkt wellicht geweldig, al blijkt de werkelijkheid anders te zijn. De bewoners zullen namelijk het gehele jaar gewekt worden het gekraai en geschreeuw. Daarbij zal het rendement van de zonnepanelen al snel afnemen door beschadigingen en uitwerpselen van de vogels. Het is dan ook begrijpelijk dat de bewoners kauwen onder zonnepanelen plaatsen.
