Het voordeel van een houten beton schutting is dat het een veilige keuze is. Het meest kwetsbare onderdeel van een schutting is de onderkant. De kans op rotting is daar het grootst, omdat het deels in de grond staat. De grond is natuurlijk vaak vochtig, wat schimmel en rotting kan veroorzaken. Bij deze specifieke schutting is gemaakt van beton in plaats van hout. Het beton is veel minder gevoelig voor rotting, waardoor de kans daarop veel kleiner is. Daarnaast is beton natuurlijk een stuk steviger dan hout. Hierdoor is het minder gevoelig voor verschillende weersomstandigheden. De kans dat de schutting krom trekt door bijvoorbeeld harde wind, is veel kleiner.

Privacy

Wanneer je veel waarde hecht aan je privacy in de tuin, is een schutting een goede manier om die te creëren. Als je een heg in de tuin hebt staan, ben je erg afhankelijk van de mate waarin deze begroeid is. Dat kan per seizoen verschillen. Hoe minder dicht de heg begroeid is, hoe minder privacy je hebt. De buren kijken er gemakkelijk doorheen. Als je je daar niet prettig bij voelt, is het zeker verstandig om voor een schutting te kiezen. Een schutting is vaak twee meter hoog. Hierdoor kijken voorbijgangers of buren er niet gauw overheen, tenzij je er echt op gaat klimmen. Doordat de planken van een schutting erg dicht op elkaar zitten, kijk je er ook niet tussendoor. Een schutting is daarom een goede keuze om te plaatsen in de tuin.
